Ramster House is a beautiful 17th century private home set in 20 acres of magnificent woodland gardens designed in the early 19th century by Gauntlett Nurseries of Chiddingfold.
The Great Drawing room is the venue for civil ceremonies for up to 150 guests. This beautiful room really comes alive in winter when the huge inglenook fireplace has a roaring log fire. The Long Hall for the reception also accommodates 150 for a seated wedding breakfast or 200 for a standing buffet.
Ramster is situated one mile south of Chiddingfold on the A283, Petworth to Guildford Road. It is about a 5 minute drive south to North Chapel, or 10 minutes to Petworth. Godalming and Guildford are both about 10-15 minutes drive north. Lurgashall and Haslemere are several miles to the west.
Every year the Classic and Vintage Car Company drives many brides to their wedding at Ramster and can highly recommend it. Contact them by telephone on 01428 654167 or via their website www.ramsterweddings.co.uk
