Loseley House nestles just below the North Downs between Guildford and Compton and close to Godalming in Surrey and is surrounded by wonderful farm and parkland.
The present house was built between 1562 and 1568 with stone brought from the ruins of Waverley Abbey. The new house replaced a smaller one which Elizabeth I declared was not 'adequate' for her to visit. Weddings usually take place in the majestic Great Hall with its beautiful panelling originally from Henry VIII's Nunsuch Palace. Such a wonderful place for a joyous wedding.
After the ceremony the wonderful gardens based on a Gertrude Jekyll design are the perfect place for romantic photographs. The reception in the wonderful oak beamed 17th century tithe barn is a delight.
Once again the Classic and Vintage Car Company has no hesitation in highly recommending this venue, a perfect setting for our wedding cars to be displayed at their best. Contact Loseley on 01483 405120 or their comprehensive website www.loseley-park.com
