Great Fosters is a sixteenth century mansion located in Egham not far from Windsor and Staines. In 1639 it was owned by Judge Dodderidge who was Solicitor General to King James I.Over time it passed through the Earl of Dudley to eventually become a hotel in 1930 and owned by the Sutcliff family. The house is a Grade One listed and a Scheduled Historic Monument.
Restoration over the years has ensured that all its beautiful features remain. The fabulous gardens extending to some fifty acres are a joy to behold and once formed part of Windsor Great Park.
Despite the wonderful antiquity of Great Fosters the facilities are extremely modern but blend harmoniously with their historic surroundings. This venue is a must for any bride with a sense of pride in British heritage.
