Clandon Park dates from the early eighteenth century and was designed by Giacomo Leoni a Venetian architect of some considerable note. Clandon Park formally owned by the Onslow family, is currently owned and managed by the National Trust who were responsible for the magnificent restoration.
For weddings they can arrange exclusive use of the house with the tapestry room for the either a civil or religious ceremony, accommodating around 120 guests. Afterward the Marble Hall can be used for receiving up to 200 guests with the dining room in the under croft seating around 130 guess. The gardens were designed by Lancelot Brown in 1781 and feature a parterre, grotto, sunken Dutch garden and, and later a Maori meeting house named Hinemihi.
